Macworld: The Krawler

February 18th, 2008  |  Published in Macworld

Kevin interviews Craig Davidson from Pacific Parallel Research at Macworld 2008.

The Krawler is an affordable, all terrain, 6 wheeled, aluminum bodied vehicle with real time, high resolution video, LED lights, sensors to detect moisture, flammable gas and temperature and an optional aluminum arm with up to 6 degrees of freedom. Controlled wirelessly over a Wi-Fi network from the Macintosh computer using a multifunction mouse, trackpad or joystick, the low profile Krawler can be driven into tight spaces. The user friendly Mac interface displays and records all remote sensor data and images so the inspector can accurately document the conditions of the areas surveyed by the Krawler.

More info can be found on the Krawler’s Website.
